Sumo is traditional sports in Japan. Sumo has started over 1000 years ago.

Rikishi is a sumo wrestler.
Dohyo is a ring of sumo.The match is confined to an inner circle 15 feet in diameter.

Rules of sumo
It's simple form of wrestling.There are two ways of win. First, you can push the other person out of circle. Second,throw him down. If any part of his body touches the dohyo, he loses. Only his feet can touch the dohyo.

Sumo has 82 technics. Sumo Rikishies have many ideas to win.

There are 6 grand tournaments a year. Three tournamnts are held in ryogoku. One is held in osaka, nagoya, and kyushu.
Ryogoku in tokyo is a sumo city.

There are three kinds of seats, ringside, box seats, and arena seats.
In box seats, you must take off your shoes and sit on the japanese style cushions. Arena seats are like stadium seats.
